I am a stay-at-home mom who has to take care of my ailing mother aside from my children. I don’t want to go back working in an office so I created a business I can do at home. Last year, a friend taught me how to make handcrafted soap. Over the months, I added some personal touches to make my products more unique.
Now, I sell my handcrafted soaps to family, friends, and over the internet. I had another friend help with develop attractive packaging which made the soaps sell more. They are great gift ideas for birthdays and other special occasions. Getting positive feedback from my customers makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Personal hair care is important to take note of not just for women but for men as well. Our hair is our crowning glory. Most often than not, and not that a lot of people would care to admit it, luscious hair is the best way to attract someone and invite that person to take a second look. This is why many women go to salons regularly to care for their crowning glory. Men should do so, as well. Though a lot of men take better care of their locks, still many consider going to the salon as a waste of time. A good suggestion would be to purchase good hair clippers for personal use at home. Men no longer have to sit in line at the salons. They can do their own hair at the comforts of their home.
Hair clippers are specialized implements used to cut human head hair. They work on the same principle as scissors, but are distinct from scissors themselves and razors. Hair clippers comprise a pair of sharpened comb-like blades in close contact one above the other which slide sideways relative to each other, a mechanism which may be manual or electrical to make the blades oscillate from side to side, and a handle. The clipper is moved so that hair is positioned between the teeth of the comb, and cut with a scissor action when one blade slides sideways relative to the other. Friction between the blades needs to be as low as possible, which is attained by choice of material and finish, and frequent lubrication. So, show that you also care about your looks and hair and get that second look!

I am an avid reader. I love reading about everything and most of my friends are surprised that I have such a broad knowledge base. Certainly, I can be a Jane-of-all-trades but I do have my own favorite things to know about.
Vampires have always intrigued me. My interest started with books by Christopher Pike like Sati and his series of Final Friends, Chain Letter, Remember Me, and the Last Vampire. Then I moved on to Anne Rice’s novels Interview with the Vampire, the Vampire Lestat, Taltos, Mayfair Witches, Queen of the Damned, and Merrick. I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough of all the gore, mystique, and beauty of their world. The never-ending world of death and love. Now, vampires and their culture have gotten into the mainstream with movies like Twilight, Daybreakers, Underworld Trilogy, Dracula, Fright Night and Blade (just to name a few). Truly, if I were to live in their world, I will adapt to them. Don’t laugh but I will even put up a sunless tanning business to evade or hide their true identities. Ah, what a lonely, sad, and wonderful life a vampire must have.

The first thing I see when I look at a person is the skin. It is only natural because it covers all of the body. The skin can be beautiful and smooth or full of imperfections. Personally I like to have smooth and healthy skin. My body buffing scrub is great in making my skin smooth and healthy.
Gently apply the product on your skin until it feels smooth. Rinse off, repeat everyday and see the results. This scrub dramatically improves dimpled skin. It is made of natural ingredients and therefore is healthy. This scrub allows for healthy cells to grow and exfoliates at the same time.

Protect your body from all the harmful ingredients usually found in most commercial brands. Switch to organic skin care products and make-up. Make it a habit to read product labels just as you are doing when choosing the best foods for your family. Become proactive in choosing products that are good for you.
Everybody is concerned about health and well-being. So learn to be familiar and spot the undesirable ingredients found in many skin care products. Eventually, you will recognize the differences between what’s synthetic and what’s natural. Being an informed consumer will allow you to make smarter choices as well as have better skin.

Bathing is one of the few moments of my daily grind that I truly enjoy. I get up early and go through a whole day’s workload knowing that when I get home I will be rewarded with a gloriously relaxing and nourishing bath. This self-imposed operant conditioning helps me work better and faster.
Listen as the sound of the city fade away as it gets drowned out by the sound of flowing water from the faucet. Relish on the subtle color tones made by dim lighting or flickering flames from aromatic candles as you slip into the warm water and let it loosen your muscles. Feel the stress of your day wash away as you indulge in the homemade body wash that leaves your skin clean, moisturized and soft. These thoughts energize me. These serve as my just rewards.

I have never been good at guessing people’s ages. This is a question I always run away from when asked. Why? This is because I am 35 years old and friends new or old have always told me that I look young for my age.
I find it difficult to guess someone’s age because since I look younger for my age, I feel that the people who have skin tone like mine are actually my age, too. Unfortunately, not everyone has used organic skin care products like I have and have not taken care of their skin as early I have as well. It was such an embarrassing moment when I met a woman and was animatedly having a conversation with her. I was quite appreciative of the fact that I finally found someone my age only finding out later on than she was about 10 years younger than I was. That was a great oops on my end! No wonder our conversation varied from clubbing to formal dining! I wish everyone would be exposed to using organic skin care products like I have been.

More and more people are discovering that they can have a tan without repeatedly exposing their skin to damage that could come from the sun. Although a small amount of sun is healthy, too much could cause premature aging and even skin cancer. Fortunately one can now get spray on tan in salons any time of the year.
Many dermatologists are actually recommending airbrush tanning to their patients. These doctors approve that one should not be exposed to dangerous UVA rays that can happen during conventional tanning. Properly done airbrush tanning is also great because it provides great coverage without any streaking or discoloration on skin.

My sister has been in the corporate world for about a decade now and is quite successful. She is the one of the most highly-paid account executives in her company and is able to effectively juggle her career and marriage at the same time without dropping the ball.
We were shocked to learn that she had recently resigned from the company and want to do learn how to do makeup! Makeup! She enrolled in different workshops and was quite busy learning the rope of the world of beauty. We all thought she was having a mid-life crisis and somebody needs to knock some sense into her and fast! The only thing that stopped us was when her husband told us in an offhand manner, “You should know that I agreed to this and completely support her. You taught her to see the beauty in everything. I think she deserves to follow her childhood dream to make everyone look as beautiful on the outside as much as she sees their soul to be. And if she has to study all organic beauty products there is in the market to do this, then so be it.”

Transform your dull looking nails with nail art. It has become a fad but can be quite expensive to be had on nail salons. So a lot of fashion conscious women have opted to learn nail art themselves. It’s an efficient way to enjoy decorative nails sans the cost. All that are needed are the following nail art supplies:
- Nail brushes
- Nail gels
- Nail stickers
- Nail dryer
- Nail jewels
- Acrylic nails
- Nail drills
