oil diffuser

Diffusion is the process of letting an aroma spread through a room. You can put an oil diffuser anywhere, or you can even make your own diffuser out of items found in the home. One way to make your own diffuser is to put two to three drops of essential oil on a piece of tissue and place the scented tissue beside you or in front of a fan. The problem, though, is that this is not strong enough to permeate through the whole room.

Another homemade oil diffuser is made by using a candle. Extinguish a lit candle, and place a drop of essential oil in the melted wax. Then relight the candle. The problem with this method is that it can cause an accident because essential oils are highly flammable. Great care has to be used in order to prevent burns or fires.
